About Mushroom Supplements
Whole mushrooms contain beneficial compounds but in lower amounts. Our 12:1 extraction concentrates these compounds to therapeutic levels and breaks down chitin (indigestible cell walls), making nutrients bio available and effective.
Usage & Dosage
We source only the finest, ethically-sourced ingredients to ensure premium quality and effectiveness.
Safety and Interactions
Caution is needed with:
- Immunosuppressants
- Blood sugar medications
- Blood thinners
- Chemotherapy drugs
- Temporary digestive adjustment
- Mild headaches as the body adapts
- Rare allergic reactions
Quality & Manufacturing
Every batch is tested by SGS Laboratories in Vancouver for:
- Beta-glucan and alpha-glucan content
- Heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, mercury, lead)
- Microbiological safety (E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus)
- Vitamin D levels
- Potency and purity
The Difference Between Hardwood and Grain Substrates:
Hardwood: Growing mushrooms on hardwood (or sawdust blocks derived from hardwood) mimics the mushroom's natural environment. This method produces fully developed fruiting bodies rich in beta-glucans and triterpenes.
Grain: Growing mycelium on grain (rice, oats, rye) is cheaper and faster, but the end product contains large amounts of starch. This dilutes the actual beta-glucan content. Many tests can even mistake starch for beta-glucans, leading to misleading labels.
In Summary: Hardwood-grown fruiting body extracts deliver higher potency and purity, while grain-grown mycelium products are cheaper but much weaker.
- Standardized cultivation conditions
- Strict 12:1 extraction process
- Batch testing for potency and purity
- GMP-compliant facilities in Canada
Product Comparison & Selection
When comparing mushroom supplements, it’s important to understand what you’re actually buying.
1. Fruiting Body Extract vs. Non-Extracted Fruiting Body
Even if a company uses fruiting bodies, most simply grind them into powder. While this contains nutrients, the beneficial compounds are locked inside chitin (mushroom cell walls), which humans cannot fully digest. Our 12:1 patented extraction process concentrates and releases these compounds, meaning 1 gram of Life Force 7 extract ≈ 12 grams of non-extracted fruiting body. You’d need twelve times more plain fruiting body powder to equal the potency of Life Force 7.
2. Fruiting Body Extract vs. Mushroom Powder (Most Competitors)
Most brands don’t even use pure fruiting bodies. They use the whole mushroom, including stems, mycelium (roots), and grain substrate, which significantly lowers active compound levels (especially beta-glucans). This means their 150g bag may look cheaper, but you’re paying mostly for starch and filler, not therapeutic potency.
The Bottom Line:
A 150g bag of Life Force 7 ($129.95) represents the concentrated equivalent of about 1,800g of non-extracted fruiting bodies, and far more compared to mycelium-heavy whole mushroom powders. That’s why Life Force 7 delivers much higher beta-glucan content, greater purity, and real results, making it the better value despite the higher price tag.
Mushroom coffees typically contain small amounts of mushroom mixed with instant coffee, often less than 1 gram per serving and the caffeine can mask how you actually feel from the mushrooms.
Gummies usually contain about 0.7 grams of non-extracted mushroom powder, which means the active compounds are far less concentrated and not easily absorbed by the body.
Life Force 7 is a 12:1 extract of the fruiting body only, with no fillers or caffeine. One serving (1 gram) of Life Force 7 delivers the potency of 12 grams of dried fruiting body mushrooms. This makes it far more effective than coffees or gummies for immune support, focus, energy, and overall wellness.
- 12:1 extracts vs. plain powders
- Fruiting bodies only vs. mycelium on grain
- Canadian-grown vs. unknown origin imports
- SGS-tested for potency and safety
- Truly organic vs. “natural” claims
Signs may include:
- Sustained daily energy
- Improved focus and memory
- Better sleep and stress resilience
- Stronger immune response
- Better digestion and gut comfort
